With a full roster of 25 boats, the 20th Annual March Merkin Permit Invitational was a success in both competition and conservation. While getting on the board was no easy feat—four permit were landed—anglers reported decent numbers of fish around and ample opportunities to make it happen. While final numbers are still being tallied, we’re thrilled to share that our auction set an all-time record – which is a roaring success for both Bonefish & Tarpon Trust (this tournament’s benefactor) and LKGA. 

A huge thank you to everyone who shared social posts, placed bids in the auction, and participated in making this event unforgettable. With planning already underway, we’re looking forward to an even bigger and better tournament next year – it will be the tournament’s 21st birthday!
