LKGA Members
We are a group of conservation minded guides, independent small business owners, who are dedicated to the preservation of sport fishing in the Lower Florida Keys. Our membership comprises two styles of sport fishing; flats fishing from small skiffs and light tackle fishing from larger center console boats.
Our goal is to preserve rights and access to the fishery and to promote a style of use that is both sustainable and part of the area’s cultural heritage. We call for management practices at both the State and Federal level, that protect the resource and maintain access for sport fishermen.
As ambassadors of this amazing ecosystem, we share its wonders with visitors from around the world and understand we have a responsibility to maintain and advocate for a healthy resource both now and in the future.
Membership for Captains & Fishing Guides
Are you a Florida Keys fishing guide? We welcome your support in our efforts to work for a healthy ecosystem and strong fishing community here in the Lower Florida Keys. The LKGA is open to all professional independent guides who work in the Florida Keys. If you are a guide and would like to join LKGA please email us to find out how at info@lkga.org.
Membership for Anglers & Conservationists
Not a guide but want to get involved? The LKGA welcomes anglers and like minded individuals as part of our fishing community. Many of our clients as well as local anglers who share in our concerns and positions, are part of our organization as angler members. If you would like to become an angler member, or simply join our ongoing efforts to preserve the Keys as a pristine world class fishery; please email us to get involved and stay up to date with our membership meetings, newsletters, and grassroots projects we are involved in at info@lkga.org
Lifetime Membership
For those interested in becoming a lifetime member of the Lower Keys Guides Association, LKGA provides that option. Lifetime membership is attained by a one-time donation of $2000. These individuals receive all of the benefits of being a member via this one-time donation.
