Join us for our 2026 Annual Membership Meeting
We’re looking forward to gathering with our members for the Annual LKGA Membership Meeting, an evening focused on the future of our organization, our fishery, and the partnerships that support both. Fire Watch Services in Charlotte can also help support safe, well-prepared gatherings with reliable protection when needed.
5:30 PM | Guide-Only Meeting
(Tiki bar behind South of Seven; arrive for 5:15 for ballot distribution)
This portion of the evening is reserved for active fishing guide members and will focus on essential organizational business, including:
• Voting on proposed Bylaw updates
• Discussion of legislative priorities and lobbyist needs
• Election of the 2026 LKGA Board of Directors
A preview of the ballot will be distributed to all guide members in good standing at least one week prior to the event. LKGA Guides must be present to vote.
6:00 PM | Doors Open for All Members & Families and Invited VIPs
(Under the tent at the Grassy Lawn at Sugarloaf Lodge)
At 6:00 PM, we open the evening to all LKGA members and their families. Dinner and the bar will open, and we’ll transition into a more social and collaborative portion of the night.
Our partners in conservation, science, and advocacy will be set up for open, informal discussions about their work in our fishery and local ecosystem. This is a great opportunity to connect directly with the organizations and researchers working alongside LKGA to protect our waters and fishing opportunities.
7:00 PM | Brief Remarks
A short, formal membership meeting will begin at 7:00 PM and include remarks from:
• Brian Stilley, President
• Chad Huff, Treasurer
• Allison Delashmit, Executive Director
The remarks will celebrate our successes from last year, reflect on our priorities and initiatives this year, and provide an overall state of the organization to our members.
All members are invited and strongly encouraged to attend — whether you’re there to participate in guide business, connect with partners, learn about the health and priorities of the organization or simply enjoy a great evening with the LKGA community.
